ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Missão POWER UP is one of the educational projects of Galp Energia focusing on power consumption and efficiency.
The challenge was to create the program’s new identity, one that could easily harbour school projects.
Brand System
COEXISTENCE
Missão POWER UP is part of a major educational program, so the co-branding signatures where created to reflect the program architecture.

CLASSICAL ELEMENTS
This brand is all about energy and power, so the main visual reference is based on Earth’s classic four elements:

SHAPE
The graphic element quotes a computer game token, it’s a power up that enhances abilities.
The shape was initially drawn in 3D CG and later traced into a vector shape (so it could easily be resized).

COLOUR
The brand colour scheme for Missão POWER UP is vivid and full of life. It inherits the Galp Energia pallet adding other full energizing colours.
MAIN COLOURS (Gradient)
For richness and complexity, each shape is composed of 7 combined colours. This strengthens and reinforces Galp’s promise of power.
SECONDARY COLOURS
To bring life into the brand universe, secondary colours are used for graphic components and the four elements’ illustrations. Colours are meant to be vibrant.

TYPOGRAPHY
Intro Regular and Roboto typefaces were chosen. Intro Regular is used for headers and Roboto guarantees legibility.

UI Icons
Iconography is the best way to communicate with frequent users such as students and teachers. This set of icons intends to simplify navigation.

WEBSITE
An easy-to-use single page website was created, with information for students and teachers; here they can subscribe and download the adequate educational material.
