ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Missão Power UP is one of Galp Energia’s educational projects on power consumption and efficiency.

The challenge was to create the program’s new identity, that could easily lodge school projects.

Since this brand is all about energy and power, its visual’s major influence was the planet’s classical elements.

SHAPE

The graphical element quotes a computer game token, it’s a power up that enhances abilities.

The shape was firstly drawn in 3D CG and afterwards traced into a vector shape (so it could easily be resized).

COLOUR

The Missão Power Up brand colour scheme is vivid and full of life. It inherits Galp Energia’s pallet besides full energising colours.

MAIN COLOURS (Gradient)

To gain richness and complexity each shapes colour is composed of 7 combined colours. This reinforces and gives redundancy to Galp’s promise of power.

SECONDARY COLOURS

Secondary colours are used for graphic devices and classical elements illustrations, bringing life to the brand’s universe. Colours are meant to be vibrant.

TYPOGRAPHY

Intro Regular and Roboto typefaces were chosen. Intro Regular is used for headers and Roboto to guarantee legibility.

Iconography is the best way to communicate with frequent users, like students and teachers. This set of icons was created to ease navigation.
